From Rene's Bookshelf
Stories that speak to the heart. Words that set us free.
Every story begins somewhere. Sometimes with a challenge. Sometimes with a difficult truth. And sometimes with the realization that we've spent far too long living by someone else's expectations.
Through her writing, Rene Roberts-Nijinsky invites readers into honest conversations about family, identity, courage, self-trust, and the freedom to live authentically.

Book One
My Voice Is Not Disabled
Finding the courage to speak your truth.
In My Voice Is Not Disabled, Rene Roberts-Nijinsky explores the personal experiences that shaped her understanding of family, identity, and the importance of finding her own voice.
Her story reflects the complicated ways that expectations can influence our choices, relationships, and sense of self.
Through honesty and personal reflection, Rene invites readers to consider the power of recognizing their own worth and speaking truths that may have remained unspoken for far too long.
A story about more than disability.
This is a story about identity, relationships, personal growth, and the realization that other people's expectations do not have to define who we become.

Can I Take My Bra Off Now?
Coming Soon
A Woman's Journey to Freedom, Self-Trust, and Living Life on Her Own Terms.
Real stories. Braver choices. A lighter you.
What happens when you finally stop trying to be everything everyone else expects you to be?
In Can I Take My Bra Off Now?, Rene continues her exploration of identity, relationships, and personal freedom.
With vulnerability, humor, hard-earned wisdom, and a healthy dose of real-life perspective, she invites women to question inherited rules, release the need for constant approval, establish healthier boundaries, and begin trusting themselves.
This isn't about becoming someone entirely new.
Sometimes it's about finally giving yourself permission to become who you were always meant to be.
And sometimes, it begins with taking off the damn bra.

The Message Behind the Pages
Two books. One powerful reminder.
Although each book explores a different part of Rene's journey, both return to a central truth: our stories matter, and our voices deserve to be heard.
From questioning labels and expectations to learning how to establish boundaries and trust ourselves, Rene's writing reflects a lifetime of discovering that personal freedom often begins with courage.
You are allowed to change. You are allowed to take up space. You are allowed to trust your own voice.
